6.1 miles =…

A great run with my sister....
A reward of some strawberries and froyo...
AND icing my heel and foot. :( BUST!

It is the weirdest thing....while running it does not hurt one bit BUT walking on my hard wood floors KILLS my heel.

So I ice my heel and the top of my foot in hopes it gets better. :)

UNTIL THEN....running hard and icing well.

  1. Plantar fasciitis (PLAN-tur fas-e-I-tis) involves pain and inflammation of a thick band of tissue, called the plantar fascia, that runs across the bottom of your foot and connects your heel bone to your toes. Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain.

Plantar fasciitis commonly causes stabbing pain.

Plantar fasciitis is particularly common in runners. In addition, people who are overweight, women who are pregnant and those who wear shoes with inadequate support are at risk of plantar fasciitis.

My mom has it and her doc said soak in ice water as soon as you are done with your workout. Hope you feel better!
